Dr. Carter Hunt • Associate Professor of Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management, and Anthropology

  • For over two centuries, explorers, pirates, whalers, naturalists (most famously, Charles Darwin), and conservationists have meticulously studied and described the Galápagos Islands. Yet what is it about this place that captivated those early visitors and that continues to attract 275,000 annual visitors today? This presentation takes you into this “little world within itself” that has inspired some of the most important lessons for life on Earth.
  • Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch and join the conversation.
