News:
Do You Have Three Finals in a Row?

If you have three final exams on one day OR three exams in consecutive periods you can file an Overload Conflict Exam Request Form if you are at University Park, Harrisburg, or Behrend campus. If you are at another campus, please contact your campus registrar. The University Registrar explains the final exam conflict procedure.

Don’t know when your exams are? You can find a tutorial on viewing your exam schedule in LionPATH. Look for “Exam Schedule” under Other academics.

Thinking About What to Schedule?

When thinking about what to schedule for next semester, keep the Undergraduate Bulletin in mind. The Bulletin allows you to search Penn State's 160 degree programs and view the course requirements for each. Each tile on the "Programs" page represents one major and you can click on the tile to learn more information about it. Once you select a major to view, the Suggested Academic Plan tab on the right hand side will provide you with the recommended course sequence for that major. Additionally, the Suggested Academic Plan is interactive, which allows you to click on a course and view the description and pre-requisites. You can use this tool as a guide to determine what courses you should schedule for the spring semester.

Interested in a major in the College of Engineering? There are several ways for you to learn about majors in the college. You can attend a virtual major night, in which you can view a presentation by faculty and current students and learn about the major, typical coursework, and potential career paths. Note that the linked website states that attendance is required. This is only a requirement if you are enrolled in EDSGN 100. You can attend one or all sessions. The choice is yours!

Don't have time to visit the virtual major nights? Check out the series of 5-minute videos highlighting each major with current faculty, students, and alum who are working in their respective industries. These are a great resource for students when looking at the difference between majors.
