Dear Students,
As we enter finals week, I hope everyone is well prepared for a strong finish in their classes this semester. Additionally, I hope that everyone has had good opportunities beyond the classroom for engagement and for building positive relationships with others across campus. Once you have completed finals, take a few moments to reflect on the gains you have accomplished this year. My hope is that, no matter what, all of you are growing and developing stronger perspectives on how you want to use your education to improve our world.
Please know that academic advisers in the Division of Undergraduate Studies are available over the summer to help you discuss your educational goals and consider what options are best for you. I also sincerely hope that you can find time this summer to recharge and to reconnect with friends, family, and your community. Relationships are so important, and this is truly a moment in time where we need to work together to build strong, interconnected communities.

The Undergraduate Bulletin updates to the 2022–23 version beginning the week of May 9. While using this tool to explore colleges, programs, and certificates, be sure you are using the appropriate version for your program year. For previous versions of the Bulletin, including this past academic year, visit the Bulletins Archives.
Looking for some extra study-time in the libraries? Beginning Sunday, April 24, Pattee Library and Paterno Library on the University Park campus will remain open weeknights until 2 a.m., while continuing to close at 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings and re-opening on weekdays at 7:45 a.m. Additional end-of-semester hours at all library locations University-wide are available at the University Libraries website. Visitors are encouraged to verify all locations’ operating hours prior to their visit.

During finals week, Penn State University Libraries is offering stress-reducing games and activities to help students relax as they study for finals and complete end-of-semester papers and projects. De-Stress Fest takes place in five library locations across the University Park campus, offering free coffee and packaged snacks, as well as games, activities, art therapy, and other stress-management options, which vary by location. Have a question that can be resolved in a short 5–10 minute conversation? Join us for quick question advising (QQA) via Zoom on the dates and times below. Some acceptable topics include: discussing adding/dropping courses within deadlines; getting a form signed; using LionPATH; reviewing entrance-to-major requirements; learning about general education information not related to schedule planning; and transferring credits. QQA is not intended for in-depth conversations.
Here's the QQA process at University Park:
- All QQA is held only via Zoom during the hours listed below. Note that this only applies to University Park. Each campus advising office manages appointments differently.
- After you check in to the waiting room using the link below, check your Penn State email continuously for an "Adviser is Ready" notification with connection instructions for Zoom. Join the Zoom room immediately upon receiving the email.

Are you a second-year student interested in studying abroad in summer 2023 (next year)? Do you have an interest in pursuing a career related to health and the betterment of the human condition? Apply for up to $7,500 in aid with the Perreault Fellows Program. The Perreault Fellows Program supports international internship opportunities for talented undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds who are interested in pursuing careers related to health and the betterment of the human condition broadly speaking. The program will enable students from select Penn State colleges to immerse themselves in interdisciplinary and experiential learning abroad. Also, fellows will engage in personal and professional development workshops, retreats, and mentoring sessions. Lastly, fellows will engage in community service throughout the program. This global leadership development program is built on the principles of inclusion, ethics, global awareness, and service.
