Alternative Grading Selection Period Now Open

The online tool to select alternative grades for the spring semester is now open to students in LionPATH. Are you still wondering if using alternative grading is a good choice? Visit our Alternative Grading Worksheet for tools and information to help you explore your options. Alternative grades must be chosen and submitted by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Friday, May 21. If you are still unsure whether you should elect alternative grades after using these resources, please reach out to your adviser.

NOTE: At this time, there are no plans to offer optional alternative grading for the summer or fall 2021 semesters.

The Keep Learning website offers resources to help Penn State students access the information they need for courses this summer. It also provides detailed information about the alternative grading process for spring 2021.

The Undergraduate Bulletin updated to the 2021–22 version earlier this week. While using this tool to explore colleges, programs, and certificates, be sure you are using the appropriate version for your program year. Have a question that can be resolved in a short 5–10 minute conversation? Join us for quick question advising via Zoom on the dates and times below. Some of these topics include: discussing adding/dropping courses within deadlines; getting a form signed; using LionPATH; reviewing entrance-to-major requirements; learning about general education information not related to schedule planning; and transferring credits. Quick question advising is not intended for in-depth conversations.

    Monday 1:00–3:00 p.m.
