News:
Late Drop Deadline is April 7

You should consult with an academic adviser if you’re considering late dropping a course to fully consider the ramifications for your degree progress, financial arrangements, and future opportunities. The Late-Drop Checklist and policies for late dropping courses can help you think through the potential consequences of dropping a course before your advising conversation.

Calculating Your GPA

Your grade-point average (GPA) is the numerical representation of how Penn State calculates your academic performance as a student. Your GPA can open doors to co-curricular activities and scholarships, as well as academic actions such as declaring certain majors. To see how your GPA measures against your definition of success, you can use the GPA calculator in LionPATH to estimate where you may stand at the end of the semester. Contact your academic adviser if you have questions or concerns!

Resource Spotlight:
Student Aid
