What is the most impactful activity or experience that you have engaged with at Penn State? How has it impacted you personally? How has this activity/experience helped you grow?
The most impactful activity that I have engaged with at Penn State were my DUS-ES meetings. When I first got to school, I was still in a high school student mindset. My DUS-ES meetings with all of my peers and advisors were very impactful to my growth as a student, leader, and person. We did a lot of team building exercises that helped me polish my leadership skills. In attending these meetings I was able to connect and build a relationship with my advisor. Since then, she has helped me throughout my college career and I am not sure if I would have tapped into my potential without her guidance. The friendships I made from DUS-ES turned out to be some of my closest friends, which in turn helped guide me to where I am today.
