Division of Undergraduate Studies

Hello, my name is Eiyreana and I’m the PA for Discover House. I was a resident of Discover House 2019-2020. I'm from Philadelphia, PA and I love hiking, painting, going to the movies, hanging with friends, and spending time with my family.

When I first came to PSU I had no idea what to major in but I had a strong desire to go to medical school, so I decided to enroll under the Division of Undergraduate Studies (DUS). Once I joined DUS, I saw the special living option to live in Discover House or “DHouse”, I knew it was a match made in heaven!

From the time I started DHouse I felt like I was at home, always felt welcomed and it was easy to find friends who were like-minded. DHouse also helped me settle on a major in Biobehavioral Health with a Spanish minor with a possible minor in Human Development & Family Studies. Outside of class, I am a part of the Caving Club (a club that goes and explores nearby caves), the amusement park club (visiting amusement parks and learning their history), FastStart (a mentoring program that helps with the social and academic transition into college), and last but not least Global Brigades (a club that goes to underprivileged countries and helps with health care, running water and electric).

Being a part of Discover House really helped me come out of my shell as a first-year student and I want to help you all have that same experience. I’m always ready to talk and hope I can help make your first-year experience as great as possible!
