“Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” ― Mahatma Gandhi

I have the following pets: a beautiful Golden Retriever named Cooper. I am convinced he is the most loyal, calm, loving, cuddly dog that ever walked the face of the earth. Really. His name should have been Shadow since he follows me around wherever I go!

My favorite place I have traveled is Salzburg, Austria. I walked through Mozart’s house – how cool is that?

You may not know this about me, but as a teenager I was part of a youth ballet company and we performed all over Europe.  One summer we even lived with a host family in Poland. I wonder if that would count as a Study Abroad?

When it comes to sports, I enjoy watching soccer - of course I do, I am German!

I am proud that I get to work with and for Penn State students every day! You guys inspire me, make me laugh, and sometime even cry. What can I say, it’s a privilege!

In my spare time, I love spending time with my three children. I truly enjoy being able to accompany them to their activities and to cheer them on from the sidelines every chance I get. All of my kids are passionate musicians, each playing two instruments (including the violin, classical guitar, electric guitar, and the piano). We enjoy listening to music and attending all sorts of different concerts and performances together. My older daughter loves dance, especially classical ballet. My son is an avid soccer player and my youngest a gymnast. They both dream of joining the Penn State teams one day!
