"...what we do depends on what we are; but it must be added that, to a certain extent, we are what we do and we are continuously creating ourselves." – Henri Bergson

In my spare time I like to cook, hike, and design, illustrate, and laser cut things.

You may not know this about me, but I grew up as part of a family of Balkan folk dancers (despite our family not being from the Balkans). We performed at EPCOT when I was little.

A transformative moment in my college career was learning about embodied cognitive approaches to ethology in undergrad – it gave me an excuse to write essays about what cats and dogs are thinking.

Something someone told me that I still live by today: “You can skip that question and create your own question to answer.”
