Senior Director for Outreach and Orientation
M.S. in Meteorology, Penn State
I love the opportunity to work with students from the very beginning in orientation and provide thoughtful academic advice to allow the students to make important decisions about their academic goals and future.
My childhood dream was to be on television as a meteorologist in Pittsburgh.
The most unusual thing in my office is a cricket ball that I purchased during a trip to Bermuda during their annual national Cup Match week (a huge cricket game between the two opposing ends of the island).
In my spare time, I work as an in-game statistician for several Penn State sports.
You may not know this about me, but early in my career, I was the on-site meteorologist for the United States Golf Association and forecasted for 14 USGA championships, including 2 U.S. Opens, 1 U.S. Women’s Open and 2 U.S. Senior Opens. I also forecasted for the Walker Cup, the amateur equivalent of the Rider Cup.
When it comes to sports, I am a huge fan of the professional sports teams from Pittsburgh and any Penn State team. I also like to golf, but don't do it enough to be very good.
