Jeff Warner
M.S. in Meteorology, Penn State
My childhood dream was to be on television as a meteorologist in Pittsburgh.
The most unusual thing in my office is a cricket ball that I purchased during a trip to Bermuda during their annual national Cup Match week (a huge cricket game between the two opposing ends of the island).
In my spare time, I work as an in-game statistician for several Penn State sports.
You may not know this about me, but early in my career, I was the on-site meteorologist for the United States Golf Association and forecasted for 14 USGA championships, including 2 U.S. Opens, 1 U.S. Women’s Open and 2 U.S. Senior Opens. I also forecasted for the Walker Cup, the amateur equivalent of the Rider Cup.
When it comes to sports, I am a huge fan of the professional sports teams from Pittsburgh and any Penn State team. I also like to golf, but don't do it enough to be very good.
