Attend an Applying to Law School Session

This session is designed for third- and fourth-year students who are getting ready to apply to law school. First- and second-year students who have attended a Pre-Law Orientation Session are also invited to attend. 

Topics covered in the Applying to Law School Session include:

  • Introduction to the standardized tests needed for law school (LSAT or GRE)
  • Strategies and options for LSAT or GRE preparation
  • Review of law school application timeline
  • Using lsac.org to apply to law school
  • Drafting personal statements/diversity statements/résumés/addenda
  • Obtaining strong letters of recommendation
  • Pre-Law Advising resources

Tuesday, September 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. via Zoom webinar

Wednesday, October 18th from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in-person in the Grange Building Lobby (University Park)

Monday, November 14th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in-person in the Grange Building Lobby (University Park)

Thursday, December 14th from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. via Zoom webinar
