Abstract:
Academic advisors often feel they do not have the time or expertise to publish about their work. The challenges preventing advisors from writing about advising lead to problematic gaps in advising literature. Advising practitioners can enhance their professional experiences and advance the field by writing about advising. As published authors and members of NACADA’s Publication Advisory Board, the session facilitators are enthusiastic about supporting new authors in advising.
