Agricultural and Extension Education
Description of the major
This program is for students interested in career and technical education for youths and adults. In addition to courses in sciences, business, and the humanities, students complete a period of student teaching before graduation. Graduates may be certified to teach in a number of subject areas, such as horticulture, resource management, and agricultural mechanics. Three options are available: Environmental Science, Leadership Development and Communications, and Production.
