Live Deep, Instead of Fast

My favorite place I have traveled is Hancock, New Hampshire where my husband and I lived and raised our three children for nine years - the quintessential New England village.

The most unusual thing in my office would be my sewing machine, which I bring in frequently for crafting group meetings during lunch.

In my spare time, I quilt, read, garden, watch old movies, and travel.

Words of wisdom that I still live by today: Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it well and serenely . . .   – Ralph Waldo Emerson

To satisfy my sweet tooth, I enjoy my favorite cookie recipe for oatmeal with raisins and walnut cookies.

I love to read books by Jodi Picoult.

My favorite things to eat are Mexican food and seafood - probably because I grew up in California.
