“Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.” – John Dewey

I have the following pets: a white Lab whose full name is Grover My Love Covert (named by my daughter who was in pre-school at the time).

My Bucket List consists of lots and lots of travel

One of my childhood dreams was to be a Girl Scout leader someday.  I was a Girl Scout all through elementary school.  That dream became a reality when my daughter started Kindergarten.

I am afraid of large, jumping insects

If I could only listen to one band the rest of my life it would be The Beatles.  I’m a life-long fan.  My first name was inspired by their song, Michelle.

I love to read books by humorist, David Sedaris.  He makes me laugh out loud.
