My name is Israel. I was born and raised in Mexico. I came to the United States to finish my higher education five years ago. Currently, I am a junior at The Pennsylvania State University majoring in Supply Chain and Information Systems.
During my career here at Penn State, I was in the Division of Undergraduate Studies for two years. Being part of the DUS program allowed me to meet a wonderful person and professional, my academic adviser Diane Leos. My academic and career goals have been accomplished due to her help and support. DUS helped me to get to know myself and my personality. I had the opportunity to explore numerous majors including Energy Business and Finance, Marketing, and a few others, as well as Supply Chain and Information Systems, before making my decision. In addition, I looked into several minors, such as Spanish and Latin American Studies before selecting both the Engineering Entrepreneurship and the International Business minors. I have always dreamed of being in business in the future. However, I did not know exactly what type of business I wanted to be in. The Division of Undergraduate Studies helped me find the right direction.
