Hi, Im Jeanine Askew.
I'm so excited to be your program assistant for D-house for 2012-13. Along with Rebecca Alt, your RA, and Laura Brown, the Discover House program coordinator, I want to help you narrow down your search towards a major that is a good fit for you, while helping you have the best freshman year possible. Together, we will attend a lot of events such as those on the Discover House calendar in hopes that you will not only find a major but that you will also make friendships that will last a lifetime.
I'll be a sophomore with the ambition of majoring in Management. I am from Westchester County, New York, and the oldest of three sisters. I know what it's like to be unsure about your major and to be apprehensive about leaving home. Thanks to Discover House, Im now comfortable and happy with my new Penn State home and I want you to be the same too. Therefore, if you need anything, you are welcome to knock on door 512 anytime.
You only get to experience freshman year once and there is no better place to experience it than at Penn State and in Discover House.
