CREDIT FOR TRAINING PROGRAMS IN NONCOLLEGIATE ORGANIZATIONS
(Senate Policy 42-99)

Credit recommendations listed in the National Guide to Educational Credit for Training Programs, published by the College Credit Recommendation Service, a national program within the American Council on Education's Center for Adult Learning and Educational Credentials, will be used to make decisions about credit awarded.

Questions about credit for training programs offered by noncollegiate organizations should be directed to Undergraduate Admissions.

STUDENT ACTION

Submit an official American Council on Education (ACE) transcript to Undergraduate Admissions.

CREDITS AND GRADING

Grades are not recorded when credits are earned in this way; the student's grade-point average is not affected (see Cumulative Credits/Total Credits). Credits earned are designated on the transcript in the same manner as transfer credit.

The University may make changes in policies, procedures, educational offerings, and requirements at any time. Please consult a Penn State academic adviser for more detailed information.
