Definition: For the purpose of this certificate, “co-curricular activities” are defined as participating in experiences outside of the classroom that supplement and support your education, including:

• involvement in a club or organization;
• service to others on campus or in the community;
• research or creative projects with a faculty or staff member;
• work experiences that provide insight into personal characteristics and/or career possibilities

Goal: To participate in co-curricular experiences that will help you learn more about yourself to refine your educational and career plans.

Directions: Participate in at least two of these co-curricular activities and complete the verification form (see sample).
