Instructional Technology Committee
Mission
The mission of the Instructional Technology Committee (ITC) is to:
- Facilitate conditions that enable Division colleagues to better understand and effectively use technology in their work
- Study technology best practices in higher education and recommend related improvements within DUS
- Explore and evaluate technologies as they pertain to instructing and communicating, efficiently using resources, and engaging our students
- Review, evaluate effectiveness, and recommend alterations to online resources and tools that will help advisers effectively and efficiently conduct their work
- Review, evaluate effectiveness, and recommend alterations to online resources and tools that will help students actively and thoroughly explore Penn State's opportunities
- Help to coordinate staff professional development in areas of new technology
