It's great to be among those few who can say, "I love to get up in the morning and go to work," so I'm delighted to be a part of the Division of Undergraduate Studies.

I spent my childhood in central Pennsylvania. In later years, I lived in Philadelphia; Harrisburg; Des Moines, Iowa; and Valparaiso, Indiana, which is considered the greater Chicago area.

Other positions I've held along the way include public relations director, associate editor, marketing instructor, community education liaison, and advertising copywriter. In the past, I also wrote freelance magazine articles and published in such diverse publications as Police Magazine and StampWorld. Some day I will get back into freelancing, but in the meantime, I thoroughly enjoy working with my advisees as they make important decisions.
